Miss Personality

Our little girl is really not so little anymore. She says things every day that cause us to laugh out loud or to look at each other and say "wow!" because she is such a little person now! I don't know how to share that with you all who don't get to hang out with her in person, so I thought I'd post a few videos of her just being her. Swimming all the way across the pool with just a back-float on, having a blast in Poppy's convertible on our last visit to Knoxville, naming all the Reds players (yes, she is daddy's girl..oh and we realize catcher of the future Devin Mesoraco is still in Triple A, we just like how she says his name, lol), and celebrating being in the "unofficial top 10" for her brother. And in this last video, you will hear our son's name, which many of you already know, but in case you hadn't heard yet, we plan to name him:

Silas Reed! Biblically, Silas was Paul's traveling companion and it was the two of them who sang praises to Jesus even when imprisoned for spreading the gospel. We pray our son will have that kind of a strong faith. Reed is the middle name of Josh's brother Justin, who we love and who is/will be our children's favorite uncle! :c) We will definitely consider his given Ethiopian name and may use that as another middle name or some variation. We just plan to have Silas as this name has been on our hearts for a long time and Hallie knows her brother as this!
