A Big Day
Yesterday was full of excitement for our family! First of all Josh/Daddy had a BIG test that he'd been studying a long time for and we were all so thankful that was over with for him. Silas had a BIG doctor's appointment (well, not really a big one, but he got 3 shots and blood drawn, so he let out some BIG screams). And Hallie Grace had her BIG first day at preschool! She is such a BIG girl (okay I'm already tired of that...lol)! She will be going two days a week. In she went in her adorable little uniform (or "unicorn" as she called it and then laughed because she knew that wasn't the right word). She did way better than Mommy...I was a little teary thinking how grown up she is getting. Funny story...I hugged her goodbye and then walked over to the BooHoo/YaHoo breakfast table and grabbed a donut. Then I stood back watching her look at books in her classroom from a distance outside. She caught my eye and ran over to me and asked, "Whatcha doing Mommy? Are you just watching me?" Yep! :c) When we picked her up she said she had a "great time" and asked when she would be going back, so that must be a good sign. She's in the 4 year old class with 10 kids, 8 of which are girls. So she should have a really fun year! After all this excitement, we had to have some sweet family celebration, so we got some Orange Leaf yogurt and headed to a big field near our house where we could play. Nothing beats a beautiful late summer day, chasing butterflies and swinging in an old tree swing. God is so good!

OH my Grammy heart is beaming with JOY!!! Hallie Grace looks so adorable and so precious and so ready for preschool!!!!!! And the times with daddy and mommy and Silas afterwards are precious times!! So proud of Josh and so proud of Hallie Grace and you too Miss Kelly for making yourself Leave!!! I know sweetie I know!!! We cherished our whole weekend with you all!!! What fabulous times and memories and grand vist it was for us !!! LOVE ya all more than words MOM/ Grammy
WOW!!! How my heart too is beaming with so much joy and so much love ... and my eyes so much tearing!!! Hallie Grace is so beautiful and looks so much older than her 3 1/2... Wow... Where have these years gone??? Again, my eyes are tearing... We know Hallie Grace will really enjoy Pre-School and she'll do an outstanding performance, not only learning but also socializing, and she may even be teaching... I can just hear her say right now... 'Yes ma'm, I'll be glad to teach'... some very familiar words that came from her daddy several years ago... Hallie, CONGRATULATIONS on your 1st day of school and we can hardly wait to give you and Silas great big hugs and many kisses!!!
Josh, CONGRATULATIONS on completing your exam!!! We know how much studying and effort you put into it, but like everything you do, you're going to give it 110%!!! We are SO PROUD OF YOU and know you will always be a major success in this world. You already are in our eyes and in our hearts!!! Josh, we love you with all our heart and all our soul!!!
Kelly, CONGRATULATIONS on all the many outstanding responsibilities that you do and excel at!!! You too always give 110% at everything you do, and we are so proud of you and love you too with all our heart and all our soul!!!
Little Man Silas, CONGRATULATIONS to you too!!! You make our families so very, very happy and so extremely thankful to our Awesome God for blessing our lives with you!!! We know you too will always give 110% at everything you do too... you have no other choice...lol.
