Life as a Two Year Old...

...is a whole lot of fun! Hallie Grace started her second year of life off with a trip to the halloween party at the zoo on her actual birthday. She was the cutest tiger ever (in our humble opinion of course) and had a great time. We can't believe what a big girl she is becoming. She's now sleeping in a "big girl bed," using the potty (with about 90% accuracy and still wearing diapers at night of course), speaking in complete sentences, singing entire songs, memorizing books, and amazing us every day with what she knows, remembers, and understands. She's incredibly adventurous, playful, and tough (meaning she will fall and not cry), but also affectionate and kind-hearted. We are so blessed that God chose us to be the parents of such a special little girl.

I'm including some pictures of Hallie as a tiger, her supporting the Cats and the Colts, one of mommy and her after church, and also one of Josh and our annual pumpkin painting project. Part of our hearts are in Ethiopia right now, so we did that as our theme. Speaking of which, several referrals have gone out lately so we have seen some exciting movement on the waiting list! Unofficially we are now #38...yay! We are praising God for moving closer to our son, but also because this means babies are being placed with their forever families! We know there will be times when we are moving a lot and times when we are not moving much at all, so we will just celebrate now and ask for your continued prayers...they are much appreciated.
