Hallie Grace can spell her name now! Just kidding of course, although she can say it when you ask her for her full name. And she did want her picture made with her name when Daddy spelled it for her. What a ham we are raising. :c)
Adoption Update (as many have been asking): Ummm...there isn't much of one! Things are painfully slow right now...no referrals are going out. Our agency says this is due to rainy season, increased paperwork, etc. We have moved only one spot since getting on the list. Praying that pace does not continue, as that would mean not meeting our son for 53 more months----Ahhhh! After hearing a speaker at my mom's group yesterday talk about having a yearly theme, I told Josh that ours should be waiting. I'm sure it was not a coincidence that today our daily Bible reading included Psalm 27:14: "Wait for the Lord, be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord." Then, when turning on some praise music to sing with Hallie, the first song that came on was "Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord, we will wait upon the Lord..." So, that's going to be our theme for the next year (or more) as we wait for our son---I know He has a lot to teach us in this area!
In other news, we are excited for football season to be back--both college and NFL, and also happy that this year's baseball season for the Reds is still in full swing! I'm going to include some pictures of our littlest UK fan as well as some precious ones my dad took of Josh playing with her. This is Hallie's preferred method of being played with---thrown "really high", swung, etc.! :c) Also included is a photo of Mawmaw and Pawpaw with Hallie at the MS Walk this past weekend. We were priviledged to be able to walk in support of Vinessa and enjoyed doing that with the Johnson clan.
Lastly (and she'll probably get me for this), a quick plug for Traci---she's the best friend a girl could ask for, and also happens to be a great cupcake baker/designer! Check out her blog in the side panel if you are in her area and are ever in need (or want) of some delicious treats. These are some she kindly brought us for the UK/UofL game and Josh made her pose for this picture. :c)

Hey L'ville Johnsons, Love all of these photos!!! Our 'lil ham' is such a cutie, and definitely has the right to be a 'lil ham', especially in Mawmaw and Pawpaw's eyes. We love Miss Hallie Grace so much and are so blessed to have all of you in our lives!!! We'll never, ever be able to thank God enough for ya'll and Justin and his family. Isn't God Soooooo Good to Us and SOOOOOO Awesome!!!
One more comment,on your theme of "waiting"...We know first-hand how hard waiting is, but during this 'waiting period' that God has laid out and planned for your family, keep in mind that HE has each of your best interest in HIS mind. "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you... plans to give you hope and a future." (Jer. 29:11) The L'ville Johnson family may just be God's witnessing example for many others... who knows why we have delays in our lives...
